Sometimes I cook more pasta than I want to eat and store the rest in a container in the fridge. How long would it last?

It gets some slimy mold on it.It's probably not good to eat if it feels slimy.

I don't keep pasta or rice in the fridge for more than 2 days. It's a perfect environment for mold andbacteria to grow if you have both of these.

I've refrigerated pasta before.I wouldn't keep it anymore.Don't eat it if it starts to smell bad.

The pasta should be kept in the fridge.Water should cover the pasta. It will stay for a while. It will taste better when you cook it in the microwave.

I have stored it without water for over two weeks. It is safe to eat if it doesn't have green mold.A really bad smell would be bad.Keep it in a container with a lid for 14 days.I keep my pasta sause in a container as well.People will throw away good food if they don't know.I've saved a lot of money.Fruits and vegatables like meats for over 2 weeks. It's still good to eat if it isn't green or smells bad.
