Most packaged food labels in Canada have an ingredient list and a nutrition facts table.You can use this information to make better food choices.

Health Canada is trying to help Canadians understand the sugars in their food.The food industry has four years to meet the new regulations.

A front-of-package nutrition symbol is being considered by Health Canada.The aim of this initiative is to make it easier for Canadians to identify foods with high levels of saturated fat, sodium and sugars.
