The hack shows how to remove candle wax with hot water.

You can reuse the jar if you know the easiest way to remove candle wax.You need a candle, a chopstick, and some hot water.I am here to tell you that there is a safer, easier way to cook.

The water can get to the bottom of the jar if you poke holes in the wax.

Your hot water should be poured in.If it is not hot enough, it will not get the job done. The wax floats to the surface when the water starts to melt. After the show is over, let it cool down for a few hours.

As it cools down, all the wax pools on top.You can dump the wax if you scoop it out.Blocks of wax can go down your sink if you don't use a strainer or paper towel.

If you want to remove the labels from your jar, soak it in soapy water for an hour or more.If you want to rinse it with hot water, you should use a sponge to remove the labels and wax.

You have a new juice glass or some craft supply storage. In the comments, let me know how you would use your candle jar.

Which part is more valuable? The wax or the jar?I have an every-part-of-the-buffalo philosophy.I would like to think that the glass jar has some value.

I believe in a similar philosophy.Different priorities for different people. The wax can be melted into a new candle.

One project produces wax and glass jars, so perhaps this 'ible and that one should be linked to each other. Also labor done by humans.

Don't let the hot wax go down your drain. An expensive and embarrassing mistake was made when I had the plumbing come.!

Is it possible to pull the metal out with a pair of pliers? Is it possible to microwave it and wash it with soapy water?

Don't throw the wax away, save your lint in the paper cups and use it as a fire-starter.

I'm not aware of the white paper that meat is wrapped in after butchering, but a small piece of wax paper, which used to be used a lot more when I was a kid.Trash fire starter also makes a wonderful fire.

I use the microwave method.I melt the metal and pour it out.If you want, you can burn anything in the microwave.Common sense should be used.

I double boil, instead of pouring hot water onto the wax, to raise the water temp.

This is simple and smart.Thank you!I advise anyone who reuses jars for something related to food to be careful; lead is often present in glass used for decorative candles.

Some labels go off when you spill oil on a paper towel, attach it to a label and let it soak.
