The Jurisprudence Assessment Module (JAM) is a part of our Services.

Before you register for the TX JAM®, please read the information below.You will need your ID to register for the event.You can learn how to access your ID.

The passing score on the TX JAM is required for licensure in Texas.The renewal or restoration process requires that applicants for license restoration take and achieve a passing score on the TX JAM.The website of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners has more information.

The TX JAM is an online and on-demand learning and assessment tool developed in partnership with the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners to meet the Jurisprudence Assessment Module requirement for applicants for initial licensure.The TX JAM has been approved to meet this requirement.Takers are required to answer 80% of the questions correctly.Adherents are allowed an unlimited number of attempts to achieve a passing score, but must register and pay all fees with each attempt.

Most browsers are compatible with JAM.We don't know if JAM will work with all versions of browsers and operating systems.If you can't get JAM to work in one of the browsers, try to get it working in Internet Explorer 10 or 11.When more browsers and operating systems are available, we will update this list.

There is no fee for applying for a license in Texas.The fee for renewing or restoring a Texas license is $48.The processing fee is rounded up to the nearest dollar.At the time of registration, you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.The fees are only for the JAM.Texas will charge more application fees.

The total number and percent of questions answered correctly will be the first thing that the TX JAM takers will receive.Links to the sections of the laws, rules and regulations under which questions were answered incorrect are included in the score report.If you want to keep your personal records, you should save a copy of your score report.After completing the assessment in the JAM system, your score report is available for two days.You can access your score through the Customer Dashboard after that.Scores are reported by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Within ninety-six hours of purchase, JAM must be completed.You will need to re-register and pay again if you don't take the JAM within ninety-six hours.
