There are different sizes of the spiky balls.The most common kind, of small size, has eyes and randomly looks around itself: they are found in all worlds but the Dream Forest and Picture City.The other kind, of much larger size, has no eyes and is sometimes attached to a rocker, which is made of three small ones with blank eyes.Rayman can hit it with his fist if it isn't already spinning, but he needs to be careful not to get hurt.The Blue Mountains and the Caves of Skops are where they are found.
If Rayman touches the red spiky balls, he will die instantly.
There is a green version of the spiky balls in Rayman Designer.There are no differences between the two.The blue ones still appear in the other worlds, except for the image world.
