If a machine is returned to a Warranty center for repair within 30 days of the original purchase, Rug Doctor pays the freight charges to the center and back to you.Should additional repairs be required during the warranty period, you will be directed to take the machine to a local repair center.After the initial 30 days, you will be responsible to pay any freight charges for shipment to the Warranty center for repairs.The freight charges will be paid by the rug doctor.

This is the best purchase I have made in a long time.I own at least four different types of carpet cleaning machines.I hated every one.The brushes were worthless and the clean up was disgusting.
This thing is amazing!Someone put thought into the waste water bin design, and there is an on/off switch for the brushes to rotate.The spout cleans out all the disgusting water when you run it into it.The bin and closet smell when there is waste water left over.
The unit I bought was to replace the green machine.The first green machine worked well.Their quality went down the hill.The last one only lasted 6 months.I bought this unit because of the reviews.It works well and is cumbersome.The fresh fluid tank does not seat well or allow fluid to flow.It makes a mess when it leaks, so I won't use it indoors.
A stream of water comes out when my spray spout falls off.I can only choose to pay $50 and buy the hose attachment because of a 25 cent piece of plastic.I agree with someone else that the design of the tanks needs improvement.I don't know how many times I took off the dirty water tank and the water ran out on the floor.When it had a spray nozzle, it seemed to clean well.I might have had bad luck.

I bought this cleaner to clean up old pet stains for a friend.There is room for improvement when it comes to the design of the spot cleaner.I couldn't fill the clean water tank.The tank isn't designed to sit on anything so you have to do it with one hand.It is an odd shape and you have to hold it for the entire time you are filling it.The handle is hard to hold on to and it gets heavy.It is not a handle, it is a nub.You never have a good grip on it because you can't wrap your hand around it.I had to get the tube out of the tank because I put it in the wrong position and it popped off.It is very difficult to do because your hand cannot fit in the tank and the water will burn it.I used needle nose pliers to retrieve the tube.
The description says it has rotating brushes.There are 2 rows of brushes in the middle that go up and down in a scrubbing motion.They work well.
It got the stains up and it doesn't leave your carpet wet like other machines.I like the machine and would recommend it if they knew about the small design flaws.
If you want to use it, you need to find something that will allow you to sit the tank down in while you fill it and make sure you have the tube in the correct spot.
