The standard depth for a kitchen banquette.

What is the depth of the seat in your kitchen?Is there a standard one?I found a site that said 18 inches as a minimum.How did you determine the depth?Thanks,lucia.

We measured the depth of our dining chair.It was 18 inches long.It's comfy on the knees because the cushion overhangs it by 1 inch.It's perfect for my husband who is 6 2' and me at 5 4'.

The restaurant designer at the office did a drawing for the dimensions.The bench depth is 24.The back cushion is also accounted for by that depth.
