The value and reliability of Suzuki outboard motors is finally getting...Do car manufacturers make their own engines?

The Suzuki Motor Corporation develops and sells automobile engines.Suzuki has never made a pushrod automobile engine, and has depended on two-strokes for longer than most. The SOHC F8A was their first four-stroke engine.Suzuki continued to offer a two-stroke engine in an automotive application for a longer time than any other Japanese manufacturer.

There was an air-cooled 2-stroke that bore stroke.

The bore is 2.20 in and it is a two-stroke.The prototype produced 19 kilowatts at 6000rpm.As part of the development work for the LC10 Fronte, it was fitted to a rear-engined prototype in 1961.

Rather than being a newly developed engine, the T5 series is essentially an FB/L50 2- cylinder with a third cylinder added, its origins dating back to 1961.
