There is a charging port for the Amazon Fire 7.
It's a great way to read a good book or play a game of candy crush without the need for a computer or large book.All electronic devices can break down.After the warranty is up, theusb port used for charging can become detached or wear out from normal use.It can become costly to buy a new one.The instructions will help fix the problem.The process can take up to an hour and a half.Children shouldn't attempt this repair because it requires the skills to solder small parts back together.
1.You can wedge the plastic pry tool into the crack between the speakers by starting at the top.
If you are having trouble getting the pry tool into the crack, you can use something sharp like a knife or a small flat head screw driver.Don't damage the plastic case.
If you are going to use a knife, make sure you don't cut yourself.
2.As each section is broken loose, slowly start to pry the two halves apart.
The plastic tabs connecting the two halves are brittle and can break if too much force is applied.
It may be easier to use the pry tool to lift up the connector and cables if they are small.
Make sure you pull the cables and ribbons out of the wires so they don't break.
2.Make sure the cable is out of the way so it doesn't get caught on the board.
If you want to break the seal on the glue, you have to use a pry tool to get it.
I used a magnifying glass stand to help me see and work with the small parts.

1.Before putting the board back in place, make sure all the cables and ribbons are out of the way.
You have repaired your device.It takes practice and a steady hand to solder.With the newusb port and a more secure soldering job, your book will last longer.It will last longer and cost less than buying a new one.You can start a new adventure on your favorite chair.

Is there a difference in charging ports between the two tablets?The ports are the same for both the 5th and 7th Gen.
After a new battery is installed, the port on the board won't charge.Should I buy a new port if it's the problem?
