There is a fabric called Dye Fabric.

When you got home, the pants that looked like a perfect match for your blouse in the store didn't match.Maybe you have a pair of light colored pants that need a bit of pizazz?It's up to you to dye your own.

Step 1: The machine should be filled with water.

You should use enough for your cloth to move.

Step 2: The proportions on the package indicate how much dye to add.

Step 3: The fabric was wet in water.

Step 4: Place it in the dye bath.

Step 5: For the longest wash cycle, set your washing machine to do it.

For at least half an hour, the fabric should be in the dye bath.If necessary, you can reset the machine before it gets to the rinse cycle.

Step 6: The dye should be washed away with cold water.

If you want to wash darker colors, use warm water and rinse thoroughly in cool water.

Step 7: The pants can be dry on the clothes line or in the dryer.

Step 8: To clean the residual dye out of your machine, use the highest water level, hot water, and a cup or so of bleach.

Step 9: The lint traps need to be cleaned out.

Step 10: Put hot water in the sink or bucket to allow your fabric to move freely.

Step 11: You can put dye in the proportions indicated on the package.

To mix, stir.

Step 12: The fabric should be pre-wet in hot water.

Step 13: Add a dye bath to smooth out the wrinkling.

Step 14: For 10 to 30 minutes stir continuously.

Change direction of stirring, up/down, side to side, etc.

Step 15: Wait until the water runs clear, then rinse in warm water.

Step 16: Mild detergent is used to wash the item in warm water.

Step 17: It is a good idea to rinse thoroughly in the cool water.

Step 18: It was very dry.

Step 19: The sink or bucket needs to be cleaned immediately with chlorine bleach.

Step 20: It was done.
