There is a word of caution about mixing Vinegar and Castile Soap.

Yes.Don't feel bad.I used to do it.I'm the first to admit it.I put it on my soap labels for Pete's sake.I believed it worked because they are so good at cutting grease and cleaning surfaces.I am here to tell you that it doesn't work.

I write about pH levels if you have read any of my other posts. At one end of the soap is the alkaline pH and at the other the acidic pH.If you mix the two of them together, you can either lower or raise the pH of soap.

Both are great cleaners. They need to be used separately. You need acidic or alkaline products to clean. The power out is canceled by mixing the two.

The proof is here.I filled the measuring cup with 15 ounces of distilled water and an ounce of castile soap.I adjusted my pH meter. The castile soap mixture had a pH level of 9.7.
