Tie a friendship knot.

The friendship knots are nice and easy to achieve. These square knots are a great way to tie a scarf around your neck, especially if you are part of a Scout group. You just need a scarf and 5 minutes.

Step 1: Purchase a scarf that has different colors on it.

The different colors of scarves make it easy to identify the 2 opposite points. The folds and layers of the knot will be highlighted by a two-toned scarf.Purchase one from a department store, Scouts club, or online if you don't own one.If you only have a square scarf, folding it in half will make it look like a triangle.Scout members are often given scarves for free.

Step 2: The scarf needs to be removed with an ironing board.

The scarf will be easier to fold if the edges have been smoothed out.Place the scarf on an ironing board and rub the iron over it until it is free from wrinkling and the corners are flat.Don't hold the iron down on the scarf, instead move it back and forth. If your scarf is made from silk, place a thin towel over it and turn the iron to the cool setting.

Step 3: The scarf should be placed on a flat surface.

It will be easier to make the folds. The scarf should be placed on a clean table. The upside-down triangle can be created by laying the long edge of the scarf at the top and the opposite point below.

Step 4: A thin rope can be created by rolling the long edge of the scarf 5 times.

Roll the long edge of the scarf toward the opposite point with your fingertips. The overhanging end of the rope should be at least 13 cm long.Rolling the scarf tightly will make it easier to fold.

Step 5: The scarf should be crossed over end A and end B.

To make a cross shape, place end A under the end B.Over end B, fold end A back onto itself. The folds should be made from the end of the scarf to give more room for the rest. The left and right sides of the scarf are referred to as end A and end B.

Step 6: Put end B around your finger.

At the joining point of each end of the rope, hold your finger under end B.Pull end B over your finger to create a loop. The folding is easier if you use a finger from your non-dominant hand.

Step 7: Pull end A through the hole by removing your finger from end B.

You can reveal the loop by pulling your finger out of the rope.Through the loop, thread end A over end B.As you make the folds, don't worry if the ends of the scarf get untangled. The purpose of the rolls is to make the folds easier.

Step 8: To form a square knot, pull the ends of the ropes tight.

Pull on the ends of the other ropes to secure the knot in place as you push end A all the way through the loop.To turn the knot into a square shape, tub each end.If you pull one end of the rope too tight, you can simply push it back to its original position.
