Wax can be removed from Wool.

It is possible to remove wax from your wool carpet, clothing, or accessories.When trying to remove the wax, be very gentle on the wool.Aim to get as much wax debris off the wool as possible.You can melt stuck-on wax with an iron.It will be as good as new in no time.

Step 1: Place the paper towels over the wet wax.

Step 2: Allow the wax to be untouched for at least an hour.

Before attempting to remove the wax, give it an hour or more to dry.If the wax is solid, it will be easy to remove.Once the wax is completely hardened, go back to the spill.

Step 3: The wax stain needs to be cooled.

Place a bowl of ice cubes on top of the wax to make it easier to remove.It should be left there for a while until the wax is frozen.The size of the bowl and the amount of time you leave it on the stain will affect it.

The iron should be set to medium heat.Press it gently over the top of the paper bag.Continue for a while.

Step 9: The paper bag needs to be removed.

Put your iron down.Pull the paper bag by the tip.The wax can be easily removed if it is melted into the paper.

Step 10: When the wax is removed, repeat with clean paper bags.

A fresh, clean paper bag should be placed on what is left of the wax stain.After a minute, remove the bag from the surface.If there is wax on the wool, repeat this process.
