Wear a ring sling

A ring sling is a baby carrier made of fabric.This type of carrier is great for bonding and keeping your baby close.Depending on the baby's size and position, the type of carrying style you choose could be different.If you want to wear a ring sling, you have to thread the ring and decide on a front of hip carrying position.Ensure your child fits within the weight restriction set by the product manufacturer.

Step 1: The rings have the tail through them.

The sling should be held by the rings with one hand.The tag should face up, and the fabric should be smooth.Go through the rings with the tail.As if you were threading a belt, pass the tail over the top ring and through the bottom ring.The tag needs to be pressed between the shoulder and tail of the sling.

Step 2: The rings should be spread over the fabric.

Spread the fabric over the rings if you want to pull the rails away.The fabric should be flat over the rings.Before you put on the sling, make sure the fabric isn't twisted.

Step 3: The loop should be over your head.

Hold the rings and slide the sling over your shoulder.The sling's tail should be in front of you.The sling should be on top of your shoulder.

Step 4: Check the length of the sling.

The sling should be adjusted according to your size.Your belly button should be in line with the lowest part of the sling.If your baby hangs any lower, it will be too low on your body.

Step 5: The baby should be in the ring pocket.

Hold your baby against the shoulder that isn't covered with fabric.The baby should be looking at you.You created a pocket by threading the sling.The baby should be up against your chest and the inner rail at the baby's knees.

Step 6: A seated M-position is where your baby's legs should be adjusted.

Put your baby's legs on either side of your body.The M-position is formed by the baby's knees being higher than their bottom.The baby's knees should be in line with your belly button.Hip dysplasia is prevented by this position.

Step 7: Put fabric over your baby's back and bottom.

You should slide the fabric over the baby.Work the fabric over the baby's bottom.You should slide the fabric over the baby's back.The sling should be extended between the baby's knees.Pull the bottom panel over the baby's stomach.As you adjust the fabric, you should support the baby's weight with one hand.

Step 8: The rings need to be tightened.

If there is excess fabric around the baby, gather it and move it to the rings.Pull on the inside rail to tighten the top rail.Pull on the corresponding outside rail to tighten the bottom rail.

Step 9: You should spread the fabric over your shoulders.

Spread the fabric over your back when the baby is in position.It should be spread over your shoulder as well.The carrier should not be on your neck or shoulder.

Step 10: The baby will be put into the sling.

Hold your baby on your hip.The baby should be looking at you.You can see the pocket that you created when you tied the sling by opening the fabric.The baby should be put into the pocket.

Step 11: Spread the fabric over the baby.

Bring the fabric over the baby's back.Pull the rail all the way to the baby's armpits.The rail should be behind their knees.

Step 12: The sling has to be adjusted.

The baby should be on your hip.In the seated position, the baby's knees should be above their bottom.The baby should be brought higher by pulling on the tail.If you need to make smaller adjustments, you can pull on the individual rails.If the baby's mouth is in line with your breast, you can nurse in this position.
