Last year at UBC we had around 2000 MSc applicants and made offers to around 100, so raw numbers suggest around 5%.if you want into ML or Computer Vision, it’s lower.Other areas slightly higher.
I reviewed applications for systems and PL and if you were in those areas you’d possibly have had an interview, but honestly it would depend on your SOP and letters more than your raw grades.Plus, grades in CS and Mathematics would be more interesting than overall GPA.Grades really are the least significant thing we look at.
What motivates you to pursue a research master’s is way more important to getting an offer.
Yes you do have a potential chance to get accepted here, but it is not always a guaranteed choice that you will be offered……
