Hey.I have been accepted to McGill University as an undergraduate for Fall 2017 to major in Computer Science.Tbh, McGill just focusses on academics.
That being, you just need to have good grades in high school, i.e.from 9th to 12th.You needn’t worry about Letters of recommendations or Extra- curricular/ sport achievements or involvement in social work.
McGill looks at plain academics and if you have a good standing you will make the cut.Apart from the school transripts, McGill will require you to prove your English Proficiency by giving the TOEFL.Apart from this you can (yes, it is optional) submit your SAT 1 and 2 scores.
I did submit mine as i thought it might give me an added advantage. So yes!Nothing more than your standardized scores -SAT, TOEFL; school transcripts and 10th and 12th Board Marksheet.
However if your choose to apply for the scholarship, there are a few additional steps that require LORs, essays, ECs , achievements, leadership qualities, etc.The competition for these scholarships is tough and you need to have a balanced resume to qualify.
