What are the best activities to do with children when visiting Vancouver BC

Best vancouver activities for visitors with children?Science world.Very kid friendly.

Activities and fun learning for all ages.Beautiful location on the water front.Kids will be happy for hours.

The Vancouver Aquarium is excellent for children as well. You may find it a touch pricey however.Any park.

Stanley Park , the largest and most famous, is right at The Vancouver Aquarium .Bike rentals or rollerblade rentals will allow you to cover lots of scenic territory via the sea wall.Queen Elizabeth park has excellent gardens and a look out view but no bike or blade rentals.

Price: free If your children are older and up for moderate hiking Lynn Canyon is an awesome outdoor experience very nearby.Price: free but there is perhaps 30–45 minutes of car travel depending on traffic which can get heavey.Maplewood farms.

This is a small animal farm.Younger children can look at and pet small farm animals. Not one to go a long way out of your way for however.

Small children love the tiny baby animals.

Science World has some kid-friendly activities usually, things like grossology the science of farts.H.R.MacMillan Space Centre has things for little scientists.

The Vancouver Aquarium still has lots of animals, though I think they stopped keeping bears and killer whales. There’s beaches, if it’s not raining, and totem poles in Stanley Park, and a water park on Granville Island. The Granville Island toycompany is worth a visit.

You can take a ride on the little water taxis near there. Some kids might like to ride the skytrain or the seabus and sit at the front, or go up Grouse Mountain in the gondola. There’s a Children’s Festival in the summer and the culture crawl in the fall.

I think the crawl is fantastic value for money (free) if kids are interested in any kind of art.You can watch chainsaw carvers, try glass-blowing, or talk to real artists about how they make things.

Science World, by far, nothing else comes close.

Grouse Mountain is great on a summer day, but (a) that’s now now and (b) it is extremely costly.
