the 2zz is capable of making huge hp #'s, but the compression is what limits it on a STOCK engine. get lower compression pistons and your set to go upwards of 350 whp "easily". c2power is maxing the threshold out of their 2zz, thats why the rod bearings are deforming.

The block has a larger bore (the 2ZZ has a larger bore than the 1ZZ, and a shorter stroke). The crank is different to reflect the shorter stroke. The rods and pistons are different to give the appropriate compression ratio and valve clearance.Nov 7, 2001
