National Stop Bullying Day on the second Wednesday in October brings together students, faculty, and parents to end bullying.

Bully and Anti-Bulling Awareness may be represented by any color. We use the color blue to promote the further education of anti-bullying programs and bullying prevention initiatives with schools and organizations.

Pink Shirt Day aims to reduce bullying in Aotearoa by celebrating diversity in all its forms and supporting workplaces, communities and schools to be safe, supportive, welcoming and inclusive of all people. While all people can be the target of bullying, some groups or individuals experience more bullying than others.

On Unity Day people come together — in schools, communities and online —to send one large ORANGE message of support, hope and unity to show that we are united against bullying and united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
Is there an annual Anti-Bullying Week?
ABA are official organisers of Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day. Anti-Bullying Week 2021 took place from Monday 15th - Friday 19th November with the theme One Kind Word. Anti-Bullying Week 2022 is scheduled to take place from Monday 14th - Friday 18th November. The theme will be launched in May 2022.
What is the Colour for Anti-Bullying Week?
Wear Blue Day. As part of Anti-Bullying Week, the charities asked individuals to wear blue clothing on a set day in order to show their support for the campaign. The colour blue was chosen because it is often considered to be symbolic of sadness and depression.
