There is an error code that indicates excessive detergent suds.It could be caused by using too much detergent or not using High Efficiency detergent.

The excess suds will not allow the washer to spin out water. The washer automatically extends the rinse time when "Sud" is displayed. The washer adds water for additional rinsing during this time. The bubbles in the suds break during this pause. There is a need for a pause and rinsing to eliminate suds. The time for your washer to complete the cycle could be extended.

If the problem continues, and the correct amount and correct type of detergent is being used, we suggest running a "Clean Washer" cycle to remove residual detergent that might have built up in the washer. The owner's manual has instructions for cleaning.

Excess suds may be created in washers with this type of liquid chlorine bleach. If this is the case, run the washer empty, use regular liquid bleach products, or clean with affresh washer cleaner.
