Some days, rain closes Knotts. It depends on how heavy the rain and how big they expect their attendance to be. Rain will close some of the fancier roller-coasters (their brakes don't work on wet tracks). Often the park stays open while the big coasters close.

Lounge chairs are available on a first come first serve basis. Lounge chairs must remain in designated areas. Guests may leave Soak City and return later the same day by showing the Soak City hand stamp obtained at the exit gate also with a ticket or season pass.
