Five Stand is a type of shotgun sport shooting similar to sporting clays, trap and skeet. Typical five stand targets are a rabbit, chandelle, overhead, standard skeet high house and low house shots, teal (launched straight up into the air), trap (straight ahead from ground level), and an incoming bird.
What is a Chandelle clay target?
The Chandelle target is a crosser not a dropper. The arcing target presentation gives shooter fits because it gives you the illusion that it is dropping when the reality is that for every foot it drops it moves 15 feet to the right or left depending on trajectory.
