It will be just fine as long as there are no resonances. A Thick wall or a very damp metal like cast aluminum will be just fine. RadioShack (Japan) manufactured some cast metal boxes for a line of small speakers with a robust 4” woofer and 1” soft dome tweeter. Those speakers sound good.
Can you use a guitar amp as a speaker from a mixer?
As long as the mixer doesn't include a power amp and you don't use an output meant to go to a speaker that should be fine. If your mixer has an internal power amp and you connect the speaker output to the input of the guitar amp it will be very bad however… you may damage both the guitar amp and the power amp.
