What materials can you heat emboss?
You can stamp and emboss on many many different types of foundation materials. Everything from cardstock, copy weight paper, acetate, wood, pattern paper, vellum, canvas, metal, plastic, chipboard and so much more.
How do you heat emboss paper?
- Dab ink on your choice of stamp and press it down firmly on paper.
- Cover the impression with embossing power (over your funnel).
- Flick the back of the paper, and/or use the paintbrush to wipe away any excess powder.
- Turn on your heating tool and let it warm up for a few seconds.
Can you use a hair dryer for heat embossing?
You can´t use a Hairdryer on embossing powder. The hairdryer does not get hot enough to melt the embossing powder and it produces too much airflow. So unfortunately a hairdryer will not work on embossing powder but you can use other household items to melt the powder, like a toaster or an iron for example.

Does heat make erasable pen disappear?
Leaving items such as notebooks, homework or paper near heaters, in a car on a hot day or even putting pages through repeated photocopying, can heat the paper sufficiently to make FriXion ink invisible. If you find your page to be blank, simply put it in the freezer for a short period of time.
