Expect limited and modified dining Most of the restaurants at Aulani are operating close to normal, with some capacity limitations as state regulations dictate. Almost all of Aulani's restaurants have outdoor seating and much of the indoor areas are open air.
How many days do you need at Aulani?
Dedicate at least 2 full days to enjoying and exploring Aulani. The resort offers a lot of entertainment, activities, etc., and it's difficult to do these all in a couple of days, plus enjoy their excellent pools, hot tubs, spas, etc.
Is Disney Aulani expensive?
The Aulani 2018 published rates for the week we were in Aulani were $665/night for each standard room (sleeps 4), essentially $1330/night. Overall: Aulani is definitely not worth the trip for the Disney experience, because there really is no Disney experience. Definitely not worth the trip for a resort stay, there are so many other properties offering more diverse and comfortable amentities in a better location for a more complete vacation.

Can you sneak into Aulani pool?
In short, the answer is no, you can't just hang out at the pool. It's likely that they issue wristbands. You might ask if they do day passes, but it's likely to be the same cost as a room. And, yes, they're likely to escort you out if you try to sneak.
