Can you submerge a Pelican case?
Pelican waterproof cases are made of polypropylene copolymer that has chemical resistance properties. Durable and lightweight, Pelican cases protect sensitive items from damage from weather or rough handling. The cases are also buoyant, so they float, and can be fully submerged due to a pressure equalization valve.
Are Pelican vaults waterproof?
However, it's important to note that although quite weather-resistant, the Vault cases are not waterproof. They also don't have full-length hinges like Pelican's top-of-the-line models. Understandably, the Vault case limited warranty period is one year, versus lifetime for the Pelican premium cases.
