What is the difference between Bootz and American Standard bathtub materials?

I need a left drain alcove bathtub.The Bootz Aloha is suggested by my contractor.Is it too cheap to have a tub?

It is as cheap as you can get.American Standard's Americrap would be next.Cheepchinesecrap would be next.House brands of ''cast stone'' would be the next thing to be imported.Kohler cast iron would be next.

It is easy to find good quality acrylic as a special order.Kohler and American Standard have decent products for less than $500.
