Compared to Smooth leather, Oiled leather has a softer feel and is a bit less shiny. It has a durable and moisture-resistant surface. For care, spray with Meltonian Water & Stain Protector. You can either use polish to enhance shine or beeswax conditioners to stay with a more satin look.

The film coating that gives patent leather its shiny finish can usually be restored by simply wiping down the shoes with a damp cloth.
