What is the difference between Montreal and Toronto for a new immigrant

Hi.Culturally, there is a vast difference.Montreal is the center of the French-Canadian culture in North America.

Montreal, many folks say, has a “European” feeling to it, and I strongly agree. The arts scene in Montreal is fabulous, as are the restaurants.

A better question with an easier answer might be what is the same between Montreal and Toronto? It’s a much shorter answer. There’s very little of the same between these two cities – Toronto is very large mega sprawl – and predominately English speaking in Ontario, and Montreal is there quite as large of a mega sprawl and predominately French-speaking in Quebec.

Toronto is English and Montréal is french .Toronto is the métropole of Ontario while Montréal is the métropole of Québec.TO would have a bit more office jobs since they have inherited a lot of our head offices in the last decades .
