As of January 2021, the museum is managed as a part of Sacred Heart University. In September 2021, the museum officially reopened as the Discovery Science Center & Planetarium.

How much does it cost to go to the museum of Discovery?
The Museum of Discovery and Science is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with restricted hours on Sundays. Admission costs $16 for adults, $15 for seniors and $13 for children between the ages of 2 and 12, as well as members of the military. Kids 1 and younger get in for free.
Do you have to pay for the Discovery Museum?
Entry to all our venues is free. However charges apply on all our facilitated workshops in venue and those taking place in school. Charges will be clearly communicated to you by the learning team when you make your enquiry.
Do you have to book for the Discovery Museum?
You don't need to book ahead to visit Discovery Museum. Entry is free, donations welcome. We want to make your visit as safe and enjoyable as possible so, there are some safety measures that we recommend: We recommend that all visitors aged 12 years and over wear a face covering in the museum and archives.
