Where can I get a download of the jdBC driver for mysql?

I tried to use jasper report studio.You hit the first brick wall when you try to create a data source.

I need to install a jar on the classpath according to the forums.The first hurdle is how to get the jar.This is the only place I can find.

This doesn't give you a jar, it gives you an msi installer.Just get the jar, I don't want to install anything.

I have installed a program but can't find the jar.

Is there an official way to get hold of the jar?It seems like it's hard to find.
