Is the DECKED system waterproof?
The drawers are weatherproof not waterproof. The Decked will keep your gear dry in the craziest of storms and even stay dry while at a car wash. However it is not completely sealed and if you hit it from the back from a low angle you may get water in there. The drawers need to breath to allow water to evaporate.
How long does it take to get a DECKED system?
Initial installation period can take up to 2 or 3 hours using common hand tools. After assembling the storage system for the first time, it takes about 15 minutes to remove or re-install the DECKED system in the bed of your truck.
How is DECKED shipped?
All DECKED Accessories ship FREE anywhere in the continental U.S. Orders are processed and shipped within 5-7 business days (typically within 3 business days). Shipping takes an average of 7-14 days. Your order will ship via a large truck from a contracted freight carrier that specializes in shipping large parcels.
Are DECKED systems worth it?
In short: The DECKED drawer system is durable, solid, and reliable. After an extensive but logical assembly process, they result in a great-fitting, perfectly functional drawer bed system that will hold up to serious abuse.
Is DECKED dust proof?
The drawers themselves have a 200 lb capacity and even when fully loaded, they slide in and out on their rollers with ease. Another consideration that lead me to the DECKED system was its weatherproofing. I'm happy to say that there's a minimal amount of dust inside the drawers and would consider them 98% dust proof.
