Why is my PUR water filter still flashing red after filter change?
It's supposed to flash red when it's time to change filters. I believe it's based on time, not volume of water but I could be mistaken. It can be reset by removing the filter, leaving it off at least 30 seconds and replacing it. ... The filter should be replaced about every 4 months, depending on how much it is used.
