Does Mastercam work with Windows 10?
OPERATING SYSTEM Windows 10 version 1903 and later 64-bit Professional editions are recommended. Mastercam can run on Windows 10 version 1903 or later 64-bit Professional editions.
Can I install Mastercam on a Mac?
MasterCam, at least, is Windows only. That's doesn't mean that it won't work on your Mac, though. You can install a Boot Camp partition and install Windows on it or you can use a virtual machine using something such as Parallels to run Windows.
How much RAM is needed for Mastercam?
When Mastercam uses all available RAM, it switches to using virtual memory space, which is stored on the hard drive and will dramatically slow the system down. We recommend a minimum of 8 GB of memory. For large toolpath generation and simulation, we recommend 32 GB of RAM.

Can you run Mastercam on a laptop?
New versions of Mastercam will run on Windows 7 or newer. Unless you have a specific reason to run Windows 7 or 8, like perhaps some legacy software you absolutely need, I would suggest going with Windows 10. Support for Windows 7 ended on …it will still work, just no more updates from Microsoft.
Can I use Mastercam on a Mac?
