Step 4: Take excess water away with a towel.

To remove the soapy water and dirt from the shoe, use a cloth or paper towel.You could spread the dirt across the fabric if you wiped the towel on it.Don't use the towel to dry your shoes.Remove the cleaning solution from the surface.

Step 5: You should let your shoes dry.

Put them in a well-ventilated area in your home after you pat them with a towel.Leave them alone for at least 2 hours.You can leave your shoes to dry overnight if you clean them at night.

Step 6: Take 1 part of bleach and 5 parts of water.

In a well-ventilated area in your home, mix the bleach and water in a small container.If you use more bleach, it could give your shoes a yellow hue.It's best to use bleach for white fabric shoes.While working with bleach, wear nitrile gloves.

Step 7: Work a toothbrush with small circles to loosen stains.

Start scrubbing your shoes by dipping the toothbrush in bleach solution.Focus on areas that are dirty and deep stains.The stains should be visible when you look at the fabric.Start with the fabric of your shoes.

Step 8: Use a damp towel to wipe the bleach solution off your shoes.

Step 12: For 3-4 hours, let the paste dry on the shoes.

The paste can dry if the shoes are set in direct sunlight.You can scratch the dried paste with a fingernail if you leave them outside.Put your shoes in a well-ventilated room if you can't keep them outside.

Step 13: Use a dry brush to remove the dried paste from your shoes.

The paste will fall to the ground if you hit the soles of your shoes together outside.Remove dried paste chunks from your shoes with a dry toothbrush.Lay a sheet on the ground to catch the dried paste.

Step 14: Put a damp cloth on your shoes to get them wet.

Take a microfiber cloth or towel and wipe it across your shoes.If you get your shoes damp, the toothpaste will foam up.It's possible to use toothpaste on fabric, mesh or sneakers.

Step 15: Rub toothpaste into the shoes with a toothbrush.

Put the toothpaste on the stains on your shoes.If you want to coat the entire area with toothpaste, spread it thin.Allow the toothpaste to set for 10 minutes after you work it into the shoes.It is important to use a non-gel toothpaste.Other colors can stain your shoes.

In a well-ventilated room, place your shoes in front of a fan.The shoes should be left to dry.Your shoes should look a bit lighter once they are dry.You can speed up the drying process by leaving your shoes outside.
