Are meat cleavers sharp?
The western cleaver, or meat cleaver, has a thick blade that isn't very sharp. It is not used for cutting through bone, as it has a sharper edge, but is suitable for chopping vegetable and slicing through meat. Always ensure your Clever Cutter® Knife is closed and the safety lock is engaged when cleaning in the dishwasher. Always be sure your hands/fingers are clear of the blade when cleaning by hand.
