Your AirPods will not play a sound while they're in the case, so if you lose the AirPods and the AirPods Case somewhere in the house, you're out of luck. There's also no way to track the AirPods case because a Bluetooth connection is needed for Find My AirPods, so there is no option for locating a lost case.
How do I enable AirPods location?
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on your name, and then select Find My.
- Activate Find My [type of device you're using] and then turn on Find My [device]
- If you wish to find items even when they're offline, activate Find my network (explained in more detail a little later)
What does no location found on Find My iPhone mean?
If you see a No location available label for friends. You might not see your friend's location for these reasons: Your friend might need to correct the date on their device. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time. The device is off or isn't connected to cellular or Wi-Fi.
