Passpoint. The passpoint system is used to identify if the garage door opener is moving too slow, fast and to detect relative garage door position. Each time the garage door opener passes through one of the passpoints, the LED or screen will blink to indicate this.
Why is my liftmaster button blinking?
Your garage door opener is programmed with self-diagnostic capabilities. The diagnostic LED light next to the learn button will flash a number of times, then pause before repeating, signifying it has found a potential issue.
Why is the green light flashing on my garage door opener?
If the light is flashing rapidly this means you have a stuck button on one of your remote controls. Take the batteries out of each remote control. When you remove the batteries from the bad remote, the light will stop flashing. This remote needs to be replaced.
