You can make a fishtail braid.

If you have long hair, the fishtail braid is a favorite for rushing mornings. It's great for an average day or to wear to a formal event. You'll be able to wear fishtail braids all day if they get a little messy. These types of braids are similar to regular braids but use 2 strands instead of 3.If you can braid, you'll be able to fishtail and create amazing hair looks.

Step 1: Divide your hair into two equal parts.

There will be a left and a right piece.

Step 2: Take a small strand of hair from the left section.

From the outside, gather it.It should be no thicker than 0.1 in.

Step 3: The strand should be pulled across the left section.

It should be moved towards the right.

Step 4: There is a thin strand under the right section.

It will become part of the right section.

Step 5: To tighten the sections, gently tug on them.

As far as they can go, move your hands up.You can always tousle it for a messier look later if you make your braid tighter.

Step 6: From the right section take a thin strand.

You can get it from the outside of the section.

Step 7: Pull the strand up across the right section.

It should be moved to the left section.

Step 8: Under the left section is where to put it.

It is in the left section.

Step 9: Continue alternating sides until you reach the end of your hair.

If you want to tie it off, leave at least 1 in of your hair unbraided.Try to use thinner strands further down.Your hair will become thinner towards the ends as a result of this.

Step 10: Attach a hair tie to your hair.

If you want to hide it, you can take a strand of hair and wrap it around a hair tie.Attach the strand with a pin.

Step 11: Rub your hands together to create a tousled braid.

If you have a lot of layers on your hair, you may want to skip this.

Step 12: There is a section of hair at the crown of your head.

It's best to keep it at eye level. It should be centered as you can.

Step 13: The section should be split into 2 parts.

There will be a left and a right half.

Step 14: Pull up the strand on the left side of your head.

Try to get it from your head.Make the strand thin and small.

Step 15: The strand should be pulled across the left section and towards the right.

Step 16: There is a thin strand under the right section.

From now on, it will be a part of the right section.

Step 17: Take a strand of hair from the right side of your head.

Make sure this strand is the same distance from the center of your head as the strand on the left side.Again, make sure that it is not thicker than 1 cm.

Step 18: Pull it across the right section to the left.

Step 19: There is a thin strand under the left section.

From now on, it will be a part of the left section.

Step 20: Pull up the center section.

The first section you pulled up should be the same size as this section. The second center section should be folded across to the left side.

Step 21: When you reach the base of your head, keep alternating sides.

You can either tie your hair off or keep braiding it.

Step 22: Continue braiding your hair.

The braid needs to be tight and smooth. You can fight it later.

Step 23: The braid needs to be tied off at the end.

If you have less than 2.5 cm left of your hair, tie the braid off with a hair tie.

Step 24: Pull on the edges to create a messy fishtail braid.

The braid will become messy if you have a lot of layers in your hair.

Step 25: Find hair elastics that match your hair color.

If you can't find one that matches your hair, use clear ones.Make sure you have enough to make several topsy-turvy ponytails. The braid will work best on long hair.It might not work on hair that is shorter than the upper arm.

Step 26: Put your hair in a ponytail.

Make your ponytail as close to the base of your head as possible, but don't make it too tight.

Step 27: A topsy-turvy ponytail can be created.

Start by touching your hair with your pointer and middle fingers.Make a hole by splitting your fingers.Pull the ponytail through the hole.Take care of your hair.

Step 28: A few inches down from the first one, tie another elastic around your hair.

If you have thin or fine hair, tie the elastic closer to the first 1.If you have thick hair, tie it further away.

Step 29: Another topsy-turvy ponytail is created.

Put your fingers through your hair and make a hole. The tail should be pulled through the hole.

Step 30: Continue until you have a small amount of hair left.

Your hair should be tied off with a hair tie.

Step 31: Hide the elastics.

Pull on strands of hair to fluff them out.Ribbon or string can be wrapped around the elastics. For a festival look, add some colorful beads.

Pull your hair into a ponytail either to the left or right of your neck.Use a clear elastic to tie it off.Tie your hair off with a fishtail braid. When you're done, remove the clear elastic.

Step 33: Before you do the fishtail braid, try making a topsy-turvy ponytail.

Start with a ponytail. You can put your fingers between the nape and the elastic. The ponytail needs to be pulled through the hole.Fishtail braiding is done once you have flipped your ponytail.Try poking a flower or 2 into the hole of the topsy-turvy for a cute look.

Step 34: To cover up the hair tie, use a clip or barrette.

You can tie a ribbon over the hair tie. This can make your braid more interesting.

Step 35: You should put your braid in a bun at the nape of your neck.

Keep it in place with a few pins.If you have long hair, this will be effective.

Step 36: Before braiding your hair, add colored hair extensions.

This will make your braid look more interesting.Attach a single clip to the base of your hair and braid it.
