A star is a great shape for a piata.It hangs well, is easy to fill with candy, and is a simple design to put together.
Step 1: A large star shape can be drawn on cardboard.
The template will be used for shaping the wire.It should be large enough to hold the contents and hit the piata stick.It's good to have cereals and grocery boxes.As it will be covered, the look of the cardboard doesn't matter.
Step 2: Take out the wide strips of cardboard.
The width should be the same.The sides of the star will be formed by them.
Step 3: Attach the strips to the star shape.
The strips should be upright.Attach the star base with tape.
Step 4: Continue until the whole star has a three-dimensional shape.
To join the strips, tape them all together.
Step 5: The newspaper has a star on it.
Soon, this will cover the star.
Step 6: There are goodies inside the star.
Small candies and toys are what these are.For hygiene reasons, candy must be wrapped.

Wrap tape around the open edge of the star and put the newspaper around it.Make sure the newspaper is strong by repeating it.
Step 8: Cut 7.5 cm 3 inch wide strips from tissue paper.
If you prefer, use one color or vary the colors.

Step 12: The fringe should be on the side of the star.
Lift up the fringe as you glue around the star to make sure it looks good.Continue adding fringe until you can no longer read the newspaper.
Step 13: Wrap a ribbon, twine or yarn around the pointers of the star.
Tie in place firmly and leave a loop at the top for handing.
Step 14: The piata needs to be hung.
It is ready to hit.It is lightweight and easy to break open.
