You can make garlic juice.

garlic juice has health benefits.According to some, garlic is an effective antibiotic that helps your immune system ward off colds, while others believe that it can help prevent cell damage and toxins.Other claims include the idea that garlic can lower cholesterol, and that it can reduce the severity of asthma. Many of the claims do not have enough scientific research to support them, but garlic juice does appear to have a link to improved health.

Step 1: Pick out the cloves from the garlic bulb.

A medium-sized head of garlic will usually produce around 10 cloves.

Step 2: A clove is put on top of a board.

The curved side should face up, since it was closest to the "heart" of the head.

Step 3: The chef's knife should be placed over the clove.

The clove of garlic should be in between the center of the blade and the handle. The cutting edge should face out.

Step 4: If you want to quickly strike the flat side of the blade, hold the knife's handle with one hand.

Don't be afraid to hit the clove hard. The clove should be smashed with enough force to remove the skin.Don't cut yourself on the knife.

Step 5: The procedure for smashing cloves of garlic is the same as before.

Use the flat side of your knife to peel the garlic cloves.

Step 6: The garlic cloves should be put into a food processor.

A food processor is easiest to use for this amount of garlic.

Step 7: Use a high speed to puree cloves.

Continue to puree them until you get a thick, creamy liquid. You should not see a lot of garlic.

Step 8: Put a clove of garlic into a press.

You might be able to fit multiple cloves in at the same time if you have a large press. The strength you need to crush a single clove is not as strong as the force that will crush more cloves.

Step 9: The press should be held over a glass bowl.

The garlic will fall out of the press if you use a large bowl.

Step 10: Use both hands to press the garlic's handles.

Bring the handles together tightly. The garlic should be left inside the bowl.

Step 11: Continue pressing the cloves of garlic.

You may want to take a break if you sense you are getting tired. You could end up with garlic mush that is not well-pressed.

Step 12: Put the garlic puree or mush in a strainer.

There are small to medium-sized gaps in the strainer.Fine gaps will allow you to separate more of the solid from the liquid, but they may make the process go slower. There is a nice balance between speed and quality.

Step 13: The strainer should be placed over the bowl.

Any liquid that falls from the strainer should be caught in the bowl.Pick a bowl that the strainer can rest on in order to free up both hands.

Step 14: Place a rubber spatula on the garlic.

The juice should run through the strainer and into the bowl.If you can't produce any more juice, keep pressing.

Step 15: If you want to make future recipes, discard the pulp.

Garlic can be used to flavor a number of dishes.

Step 16: A coffee filter can be placed over a bowl.

The filter should be secured with a rubber band so that it doesn't fall inside. It is possible to make a purer product by running the juice through a coffee filter.Even though you can use your coffee maker, be aware that garlic has a potent odor that may linger even after you clean your machine.Coffee prepared in the machine afterwards may have a hint of garlic flavor.

Step 17: The garlic juice can be poured through the coffee filter.

You may spill if you pour too quickly.Continue pouring until the juice is in the bowl.

Step 18: When you are ready to use the juice, store it in the fridge.

It's best to keep it in a glass bowl so that the garlic juice won't be contaminated by other flavors or odors.
