Step 1: Newspaper should be placed over your work area.
A desk or table is a hard surface to work on.You don't want to damage the surface with glue if you cover the entire surface.You can use scrap paper or rags to cover the area if you don't have a newspaper.
Step 2: In an old plastic container, stir 3 parts craft glue with 1 part water.
Use an ice block stick to mix the water and glue.Liquid craft glue with 14 cup (60 mL) of water is needed to make 2 large yarns balloons.If you want to make more yarn balloons, increase or decrease the amount of glue solution.
Step 3: If you want yarn balloons, use water balloons.
These balloons are perfect for decorations.Water balloons can be purchased in the toy section of a general store.There are different sizes of water balloons on the packet.When the weather is warm, water balloons can be found in a seasonal aisle at a grocery store or dollar store.
Step 4: If you want larger yarn balls, use party-sized balloons.
Birthday parties and other celebrations often feature party-sized balloons.These can be used to create balloon-shaped decorations.These balloons can be found anywhere that party supplies are sold.If you want to make a yarn ball, blow the balloons up.
Step 5: Don't fill the balloons all the way.
Blowing the balloons up to capacity can cause them to pop while the yarn is drying.Keep the balloons out of the sun to avoid them popping from the heat.
Step 6: The yarn has to be dunked into the glue mixture.
Find the end of the yarn and get about 24 in of it.Make sure that the yarn is submerged in the glue so that it sticks to the balloon.You will need to use more yarn when you cut the yarn.Any type of yarn can be used.If you want to change the look of your yarn balloons, use different colors and textures.
Step 7: Wrap the yarn around the balloon in different directions.

Step 10: Put the end of the yarn under the other yarn.

Step 11: You can dry the yarn balloon on wax paper.
The yarn balloon won't stick to the wax paper when it dries, because it is a non-stick surface.Leave the yarn to dry for another day if it still feels tacky after 24 hours.The yarn balloon and wax paper should be placed in a non-windy area.The yarn balloons will stick to the newspaper if left on it.
Step 12: The balloon needs to be popped with a needle.

Step 14: There are yarn balloons around the house.
