Zipcar can be rented from one location.

If you leave a vehicle with low fuel, you may incur fines.To pay at the petrol station, use your car's fuel card.All you need to do is sign it for the cashier, it can be found in the driver's side door jamb.If you do not have it to hand, don't worry.You are good to go after the transaction is made.If the fuel card is missing in your Zipcar, just get an itemised VAT receipt and send it to us for reimbursement.

There are different places where the fuel type of the vehicle is displayed.The fuel cap will have a tag that says either petrol or diesel, and it will be on the fuel card.Which type of fuel is needed for the car will be verified by your confirmation emails.

You should return your Roundtrip Zipcar or van to it's home location where you picked it up.Any of the dedicated Zipcar bays will do it if it's from a multi-car location.If you have trouble remembering where you picked the car up, or if it lives in a car park with specific entry instructions, you can find all the location details on your booking confirmation.

Sometimes Zipcar locations have no markings at all but are fully described in the reservation confirmation, so try and make a mental note of where.

If you see someone parked in our bay, give our Member Services team a call.If you have a camera, you can take a photo of the offending vehicle and send it to Member Services.We will tell you where to leave the Zipcar.

Once you've found a suitable parking space that meets the alternative parking criteria, please give us a quick call back to let us know where it is so we can inform or move the next member booked in.You may be held responsible if you don't follow alternative parking instructions.To be on the safe side, take a quick photo of where you parked the vehicle.

Others who have a reservation can be impacted by members who are late.You will be charged a late return fee if you return your vehicle late.You can change your reservation online or in the app.You can send us a text.You could be liable to a late fee if you don't do this.Do you mean in a Flex car?Drop it when you're done in the Zipzone.

You can return the Zipcar early.Leave it at its home location, clean and have at least a quarter of a tank of gas, and ready for the next member.You can lock the doors with your Zipcard or mobile app.

Zipcar Flex is a one-way service.Flex cars can be seen with the blue pin in our app.You don't need to book in advance, just find the car in our app, tap and we'll reserve it for 15 minutes.You don't need to return to a specific bay if you drive where you want to go, just leave it in our Zipzone, which covers most of London.It's easy!

Don't forget to leave the car clean and make sure you have all your belongings with you.You need to return the keys to the glove box at the end of your reservation.The key ring has a bullet shaped fob on it.When you return the keys correctly, the little light will turn from red to green.When it's green, that means we've recorded the time of your return and your reservation has ended.The glove box needs to be closed after the keys are returned.When you're happy you have everything you need to lock the vehicle, turn off the lights.

Go into the app, select lock to lock the car, and then end trip.Don't forget to end your trip.

The Zipcard should be locked when you hold it against the card reader on the vehicle's dashboard.Pull on the door handles to confirm that the car is locked.
