Automatic water pump controller circuit with 13 steps.

A controller senses the level of water in the tank and drives the water pump.The circuit is built around a timer.The voltage at pin 2 of IC1 becomes low when the water level in the tank goes below the low level marked by L.IC1's output goes high as a result of its internal flip-flops.The high output pin 3 of IC1 drives two relays.The water pump is powered on by the mains power supply.The tank is filled with water.

The voltage at pin 6 of IC1 goes up when the water level goes high.The output of IC1 sets goes low because of the internal flip-flops.The low output pin 3 of IC1 cuts off two relays.The water pump disconnected from the mains power supply through the relay contacts.The water flow is stopped.

You can use a 12V battery to operate the circuit.Attach the circuit to a PCB and put it in a cabinet.Attach three-sensor wire to the tank to make sure the 12V sensor touches the bottom and the low-level sensor stays above it.The water needs to be filled before the high-level sensor can be placed.The circuit is easy to build and economical.

Can I use it to reverse the high and low sensor?I want to start pumping when the tank is at a high level.

There is a chance of an ac current passing through the water tank if the HP motor is over load.
