Step 1: Take care of your apples.

Choose from Braeburn, Fuji, or Gala. You don't want an apple that is too sweet.Remove the apples from the stems. There is a Popsicle stick in the core.If the apples are cold, they will take to the coating better. While you prepare everything else, put them in the fridge.

Step 3: A cookie sheet is a good place to start.

Parchment paper is used to line it.To prevent apples from sticking, spray it with a light layer of cooking spray.

Step 4: A double boiler is something you can make.

If you don't have all the necessary equipment, you can try placing a glass or ceramic bowl into the water, but it may be a bit harder to work with.A double boiler slowly melts the chocolate, preventing it from burning to a crisp.Stirring often, add your chocolate chunks.Turn the heat down if it gets too hot.Remove from the heat once they are completely melted. Not hot.The microwave is always an option.Stirring halfway through, heat on high for 2 minutes. There's a higher risk of hot chocolate with a microwave.

Step 5: The chocolate has apples in it.

Allow the extra chocolate to trickle back into the bowl. The apple will get a nice, thorough coating if you roll it around and turn the stick. If the bits next to the Popsicle stick are hard to reach, grab a spoon and dash on a pinch. The layers should be equal on all sides.

Step 6: You can put the apple in the topping.

You may have to use your hands to get into the apple. If the topping is wet, pat it down on each side.Popsicle sticks should be placed on the cookie sheet if you're using a drizzle. If you want to create a line of different thickness across the paper, simply take a spoon of your drizzle and hold it above your apples.

Step 7: The apples should be placed on the cookie sheet.

The Popsicle sticks should point up.When the chocolate is set, put it in the fridge.

Step 8: It was finished.
