How do you respond to a text when you don't know who it is?
Just be straightforward. Tell them you don't recognize their number and explain why (even if you should have it). For some of my situations I like to say: Hey!8 ene 2019
What do you say when someone gives you the wrong number?
Often, a caller will ask for a specific person: "May I speak to John Doe?" You can say, "I'm sorry, there is no one by that name here. I think you've got the wrong number." This doesn't tell the caller much about your identity, either. It just tells them you are not who they were trying to call.
