How long did it take for you to get your wedding photos back?

I had a wedding on May 18th.Over 5 months later, it is October 22nd.Since July, I've been pestering my photographer for pictures, but she's only shown me the ones with the watermark on them. There was no disc with pictures that she owes me.I paid $1300 for her.I'm really angry that I have to change the watermark on each and every one of them because she's taking her sweet time. Some brides who had weddings after me have their pictures, but not me.!

There was a time when people wanted to see my pictures. She ruined it for me.I told her to save the 11x14 that she offered me.It's not worth the wait.Is it right to ask for my money back?

There is no mention of a time frame for brides who did not buy an album from her.Only specifies the time frame for buying an album, and states that pictures come after the album is ready, which can take up to 6 months.I did not buy an album.

Did you pay your entire amount in advance? That was the first mistake you made.Do you have a contract? What does it say? When we returned from the honeymoon, we paid 50% of the cost up front, but the rest wasn't paid until we got the final product.

You might need to file a lawsuit at this point. She might have violated your contract.Even if you win the lawsuit, you won't have the pictures, just the money back.

That's a long time.My husband is a photographer. It takes an average of a month and a half to get the digital photo negatives, DVD slideshow and wedding album that he gets online. The wedding album can take longer if the couple goes on a long honeymoon.Does the photographer have an email? If you email her requests for updates, you will be creating a trail of correspondence with her. This is important if you want to report her to the Better Business Bureau. When you report her to the Better Business Bureau, they will contact her so that she can deliver your photos. How did you find this photographer? If it was referred, you can contact the company and explain how this person is not delivering your photos, and how disappointed you are.Ask them to stop using her.Bad feedback can get a vendor to act.Good luck.I'm not sure if this will make you feel better, but my friend who got married in New Orleans had to wait six months to see her photos.
