The Ember Mug is pretty smart and generally speaking you don't actually NEED to turn it off. When it doesn't have any liquid in it and you're not using it then it'll go into a sleep mode where hardly any power is used. When you pick up your cup it'll detect the motion and turn itself back on.

Hard Reset Your Ember Mug Press and hold the power button on the base of the mug for above 15 seconds. LED will blink blue, the yellow, then red to indicate it's being reset. Once you see these 3 colors let go of the power button. Once the LED pulses back to white you know the reset is successful.
