You can learn how to add a label to any location.You will learn how to submit the name and contact information of a place that's missing from the map.
Step 1: You can open the app.
If you don't already have a primary account in Maps, you'll need to use your email address and password.
Step 2: The bar has a search function.
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 3: You can type in a business address.
You could enter a restaurant name or a car dealership.You can type in the establishment's address.Houses and other private addresses are not businesses.
Step 4: Search with a tap.
There is a blue button in your keyboard.If the location's name appears in the drop-down menu below the search bar, you can tap it.
Step 5: The card has the location's name on it.
You can see this at the bottom of your screen.
Step 6: You can tap.
It is in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 7: You can add a label by tapping it.
The option will appear at the bottom of the screen.You can see a window with an option if you don't have Web & App Activity enabled.There is a switch at the top of the page.It should turn blue.To confirm your choice, you need to tap in the bottom right corner of your screen.After you've enabled Web & App Activity, you need to open the Maps app again.
Step 8: You have to type in a label.
If you enter one of the "Work" and "Home" labels, you will get a new home address.You can't reassign the label if you've already used it.You will have two locations with that label attached.
Step 9: You have to tap Done.
This is in the top right corner of your screen.The location will be added to the "Your Places" section of the user menu.You can access your places with a tap on the top left corner of the screen.You'll be able to see it when you tap the location you just added.If you type in the location's name into the search bar, it will appear as an option below the bar.
Step 10: You can open the app.
There is a white "G" on the Home Screen.
Step 11: You can tap.
It is in the left corner of the screen.If you don't already have a primary account in Maps, you should use your email and password.
Step 12: You can add a missing place by scrolling down.
Step 13: You need to type in the information.
The place's official name will need to be reported in its contact information.The street is where your place is.The type of location is important.
Step 14: You can add any optional information.
If you do this, you will increase the chances of your location being added to the map.The primary phone number for this place is listed.The official website of the business.For your location, the primary hours of operation are listed.
Step 15: Send by tap.
This is on the right side of the screen.If you do that, your place request will be forwarded to the internet search engine for review.If they verify your information, they'll add your location to the map.
