Unless otherwise stated in the fine print, Groupon allows you to purchase deals on local services, getaways, events, or products as a gift.You can add a personalized message to a deal with a few steps.
Step 1: Go to the website.
You can either type "www.groupon.com" into your browser or click here to visit the site.
Step 2: You will need to sign into your account.
Go to the upper right-hand corner of the website and type in your account information.Click on "sign up" if you don't have a Groupon account.You will be asked to input your account information.
Step 3: You can gift a deal by clicking on it.
Go through the site's deals until you find the one you want to give to someone.You can find deals by browsing through the many featured category menus at the top of the website, or by using the search bar to find something more specific.
Step 4: Click on the deal you want.
There will be a new page with the deal's information.There are some featured deals at the top of the home page.Clicking on the "view deal" button will show these deals.
Step 5: Go to the "Give as a Gift" button.
The "Give as a Gift" button is on the right-hand side.Not every deal is available for gift giving.Sometimes a deal has different options.There are options that correspond to where the seats are in a sports game.Make sure you gift the correct option.
Step 6: You can send a card.
There is an option to send a card to the gift's recipient from the pop-up window.
Step 7: You can type in your recipient's information.
You can type in the recipient's name, email address, and short note into the corresponding fields.
Step 8: Proceed to Checkout.
There is a button at the bottom of the screen.The payment page is brought to you by this.Select "Print" at the top of the window to print a card or voucher.Enter the message you want.You can find your account name in the top right corner of the screen after you finish your order.You will be able to download a PDF of your purchased deal.
Step 9: Your payment information will be entered.
You can type in your card information in the text fields.
Step 10: You should place your order.
On the right side of the screen, click on the green button to place your order.
Step 11: You can check your email for your order confirmation.
After your order has been processed, a confirmation letter will be sent to you.The recipient will receive an email with instructions on how to use the gift.Once the deal has been delivered, you will receive a confirmation email.If you want to view, make changes, or check your order's status, you can do so by clicking on the "My Groupons" link.
